Part II: Marissa + Steve

The thing I've always loved about Charleston is its character.  The history, picturesque backdrop and lush landscape is a combination that, in my opinion, few other locales can compete with...
and lucky for us it makes for some killer images!

In Part II of Marissa and Steve's Lowcountry celebration, they say their vows along The Battery in Washington Square Park and then head to Folly Beach for their reception at a private residence.

I'm a sucker for black and white photos and I EASILY could have done this entire post without any color but photographer, Amanda Julca, captured such vivid moments I couldn't not include them.

I love all of these group shots.  The word timeless doesn't even begin to describe them...

The maids wore J. Crew dresses

Steve and his men were looking dapper in tuxedos from Men's Warehouse

After few more portraits in the park, we headed to Folly Beach where the reception was being held. With the custom lighting designed and organized by Steve’s best man, eclectic mix of food by
Duvall Catering and Events (including shrimp and grits!), the stunning cake created by one of Marissa’s bridesmaids, and the exciting mix of music- this party was the best way to truly celebrate the coming together of their lives. What a day!

Congratulations you two!  Thanks to Amanda Julca for sharing.

The ceremony was then held in the Washington Square Park.
The sunlight, the sounds- everything about their ceremony was perfect.
